Trauma & Grief
“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” Maya Angelou
Trauma and grief are life changing experiences that can impact all areas of one's life and relationships. Understanding common reactions and learning ways to cope with sadness and more complex troubling thoughts and emotions can be enormously helpful for dealing with the past, living in the present, and having hope for the future.
Children, Adults & Families
"It all depends on how we look at things, and not how they are in themselves." Carl Jung

”The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is incomprehensible”
Wanting to educate the public with sound advice has resulted in my making numerous contributions to national and local media. including television, radio and print. I have been frequently called upon to comment on - make sense - of far ranging topics from coping with disasters, talking to children about tough topics, and general emotional health and well being such as work stress, back to school anxiety, ADHD, depression, sibling rivalry, dating and divorce.
